I wanted to be a chemist. Michigan Technological University convinced me not to be. Instead I graduated from Michigan State University in 2000 with a B.A. in Telecommunications. I started a job in the College of Education at MSU and focused on developing my video & new media work, figuring one day I would move on to a production job in film or video. I never did. I kept my skills sharp and eventually, people wanted me to do workshops and seminars for them on technology in the college and the university. I realized that I could do both, produce and teach, and to teach I needed credintials. These pages outline the development of my work as a student and an instructor over the last several years. |
